NYFW 2024

In September 2024, fashion designer Jason Wu presented his SS25/ Spring Summer 2025 collection during New York Fashion Week, choosing the iconic Hudson Yards as his venue. The collection “The Quality of Lasting and Remaining Unchanged” was presented in an open-air setting, with the Vessel as a backdrop, providing a striking contrast to Wu's elegant designs, and enhancing the show's visual impact. This collection was notable for its collaboration with Chinese artist Tong Yang-Tze, whose influence was evident in the details and artistic elements of the garments.

As a backstage assistant, I played a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of the show from start to finish. My responsibilities included coordinating with models, managing wardrobe changes, and ensuring that each ensemble was presented flawlessly. I worked closely with the production team to maintain the show's schedule and facilitated effective communication. My dedication to precision and ability to perform under pressure contributed to the success of this high-profile event.

NYFW 2023

In February 2023, luxury sportswear brand Plein Sport unveiled its pop-up store in the heart of Soho, New York City, as part of its global expansion strategy. The store, designed under the motto "Re-EVOLUTION," offered a unique shopping experience blending gym-inspired elements with bold street style. Highlights of the opening event included an electrifying performance by American rapper Jadakiss, high-tech lighting displays, and an opportunity for industry professionals to connect and network. With graffiti art, basketball hoops, and skateboards doubling as seating, the store showcased Plein Sport’s commitment to innovation and inclusivity while reflecting its adventurous approach to fashion.

At the Plein Sport pop-up store opening, I took on a central role in capturing the event’s energy and vision through live interviews with attendees. Engaging with a diverse range of guests, including industry professionals, influencers, and customers, I crafted compelling narratives to highlight their experiences and impressions of the store. Collaborating closely with the Plein Sport team, I ensured the interviews aligned with the brand’s messaging and event objectives. My work focused on fostering a deeper connection between the brand and its audience.

NYFW 2022

During NYFW in September 2022, the Mastercard Tech Hub hosted KYIV Art & Fashion Days, showcasing collections from six Ukrainian designers. The event aimed to support these creatives affected by the war in Ukraine, many of whom became refugees. Founded by Sofia Tchkonia in 2021, the initiative gained unforeseen importance after the events of February 24, 2022, symbolizing resilience and solidarity within the fashion community. Keanan Duffty, along with Kay Unger and Deborah Weinswig, orchestrated the event's transition to the US, aligning it with New York Fashion Week. Designers like Elena Burenina, Bobkova, and others presented their collections, while sponsors like Tommy Hilfiger and CFDA Runway 360 ensured the event's success.

In supporting the planning and execution of KYIV Art & Fashion Days, I assumed a multifaceted role encompassing logistical coordination and stakeholder management. From backstage arrangements to seamless front-of-house operations, I orchestrated every detail to ensure the event's success. Serving as a central point of contact, I fostered effective communication among designers, sponsors, and other stakeholders, adeptly addressing their needs and aligning their visions with the event's objectives. Collaborating closely with Ukrainian designers, I provided invaluable support and guidance, facilitating the seamless presentation of their collections and elevating the event's overall impact.
